Grace Anyango

I am an academic and qualitative researcher passionate about advancing gender equity through evidence-based policy and practice. My work explores how power dynamics and social structures influence gender outcomes, with a focus on transforming narratives in development and governance. I aim to bridge research and practice by supporting governments, NGOs, and communities to design and implement gender-responsive programs. Through the APHRC’s Gender Transformative Programming course, I seek to deepen my practical skills in integrating gender perspectives across program cycles and contribute to shaping inclusive, equitable policies that drive lasting social change in Africa.
