I am a nutrition and food systems practioner with a background in managing large-scale, multi-sectoral programs across Kenya and East Africa. My academic and professional interests focus on the intersections of public health nutrition, climate resilience, and social protection. I am particularly keen on how evidence can inform policy processes to strengthen maternal and child nutrition, promote gender equity, and advance sustainable food systems. Through the APHRC and CARTA Virtual Academies, I aim to engage with colleagues in generating and applying research that addresses structural determinants of health and supports inclusive policy dialogue.
