| Short bio | Thank you for the introduction. I am a researcher with a background in population and public health research, with particular interests in health systems strengthening, governance, and the intersection between policy, data, and social equity. My work focuses on using interdisciplinary and mixed-methods approaches to generate evidence that informs decision-making and improves health outcomes in African contexts. At the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), my role involves contributing to research, capacity strengthening, and knowledge translation initiatives aimed at bridging the gap between research and policy. I am especially engaged in mentoring early-career researchers and supporting collaborative research networks across the continent.
Within the CARTA Virtual Academies, I support doctoral fellows through training sessions, research methods workshops, and academic development forums. The goal of my involvement is to strengthen research skills, promote scholarly independence, and foster a vibrant community of African researchers committed to producing impactful, policy-relevant research. |
