I am currently enrolled in the ARSH program for Early Career Researchers. I am currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. My research interests lie in the overall mental health of adolescents. My focus is on how childhood adverse experiences such as Gender Based Violence impact on an adolescents emotional and mental wellbeing. I aim to foreground adolescents voices and enabling their participation in finding solutions and implementing effective interventions that address the harm caused by any form of violence towards children.
