Short bio

I am a dedicated public service professional with a strong background in criminal justice and community rehabilitation, currently serving as a probation officer. My work centers on promoting safety, reducing recidivism, and supporting individuals in their journey toward reintegration and well-being. I am particularly passionate about using data-driven and evidence-based approaches to inform decision-making and enhance outcomes for vulnerable populations.

In alignment with the African Population and Health Research Center’s mission to generate rigorous evidence for policy and practice, I am committed to advancing innovative, ethical solutions that address systemic challenges within public service delivery. My interest in AI and digital transformation stems from a desire to better understand how technology can be leveraged to improve public health, social justice, and equitable access to services—particularly for underserved and at-risk communities.

I share APHRC’s vision of a world where evidence drives change and contributes to stronger health systems, inclusive governance, and social development. I believe that multidisciplinary, data-informed strategies are essential for tackling the root causes of inequality, crime, and health disparities across the continent. Through continuous learning and collaboration, I aim to contribute meaningfully to the development and implementation of sustainable solutions that improve lives and empower African communities.
