Short bio
I am a dedicated geography graduate from Moi university with a strong focus on human population studies and spatial analysis. My academic training and field experience have equipped me with the practical research skills that I apply to understanding population dynamics, distribution and their limitations on society. I have actively participated in a field data collection and the social economics service working alongside organization such as Nationalย  Environment Management Authority and World Vision, I have developed strong competencies in collecting, analyzing and interpreting a population related data using questionnaires field interviews and field observation methods. I have also contributed to GIS mapping projects in collaboration with kitui county government where I have analyzed settlement patterns population distribution and land use relationships. This has strengthened my ability to use spatial tools to understand how human population are distributed and how they interact with their environment and social economic systems. My technical skills include QGISย  and ArcGIS (basically level) along with introductory knowledge on Google earth engine. I am also proficient in Microsoft office applications which I use for data analysis visualization. Additionally I have experience in preparing research reports and engaging with communities to gather reliable data and insights. I am particularly interested in applying GIS and data driven approaches to study human population trends including population growth, migration, urbanization and settlement patterns. Through my research I have to generate meaningful insights that can support planning policy development and improved service delivery in communities.
