Areas of research interest revolve around education, Drug use, urbanization, climate mobility, health and well being, My research works aim at addressing risks bedeviling vulnerable populations especially the youth, rural folk ,the marginalized and the deprived in the Horn of Africa and the Great Lakes region. My scholarly endeavors are all about teaching, mentoring and researching on problems afflicting the vulnerable especially HIV and AIDS and Drug Abuse among the youth as well as community engagement initiatives
