Short bio

I am Adedayo Emmanuel Ojo, a third-year PhD candidate in biostatistics at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, with a strong academic background in statistics and public health. My research interests span biostatistics, epidemiology, machine learning, survival analysis, and statistical modeling, with current work focusing on the application of deep learning methods to disease classification and prediction. I have practical experience in public health research, data analysis, and program monitoring through roles with the World Health Organization and other research institutions.

 

Within the APHRC and CARTA Virtual Academies, I am committed to advancing interdisciplinary research capacity, leveraging data-driven approaches to address pressing public health challenges in Africa, and contributing to collaborative learning and knowledge exchange initiatives.
