African Website Visibility
Hello. My name is Bert Nyabadza, Sub Librarian - Digital Support Services at Great Zimbabwe University
Hi everyone. I am Dr. Gaelle Vofo, an ENT Surgeon and Founder of an NGO called Shomea in Cameroon. Our main focus of interest is early diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing and vision in newborns, school-aged children, and other high-risk populations. We also have projects to digitalize and mentor orphans.
I am happy to be part of this group.
When this was created and want to join my colleagues
Mebrahtu Hadush,i am working as a System Administrator at Adigrat University
Hello everyone,
I am pleased to have participated in the recent website visibility workshopβit was truly insightful.
A little about me: I hold an MSc from Adama Science and Technology University and currently serve as a Lecturer, Dean of the Computing College, and a Full-Stack Web Developer at Madda Walabu University. With strong expertise in Laravel and React.js, I am passionate about making a meaningful impact on Africaβs tech ecosystem.
At the moment, I am at a crossroads between two opportunities:
- Dedicating my time and skills to modernizing university systems for maximum efficiency.
- Exploring external business opportunities, which offer fewer budget constraints compared to university projects.
To APHRC and my colleagues reading this: We aim to develop the university website, journal platform, e-learning system, and more. However, given the universityβs limited budget and strict financial policies, who is willing to support us financially?
I look forward to insights, justifications, or alternative perspectives.
Happy to connect with you allβthank you in advance!
