Welcome to the African Website Visibility

African websites are full of reports, strategies, and frameworks. But where are the voices of the people who do the work on the ground?

A youth leader, a community counsellor, a small organisation — they have the lived knowledge, but they do not have the website that Google can find
This is the real visibility problem:
Big institutions have visibility without lived experience.
Grassroots voices have lived experience without visibility.
An enriched website is not a beautiful website. It is a truthful website — with real stories, real questions, real lessons, updated consistently.
So I ask this Community:
1. How do we make small, true, local knowledge visible without waiting for big budgets or big logos?
2. Are we writing for Google, for donors, or for our own people?
I believe visibility begins when we stop importing our story and start documenting what we already know.
What do you think is the first step?

@Djamila Sè, welcome so much and thank you for pulling the thread back to the question underneath all the technical ones: reach the right audiences, not just rank.Your framing is useful because it names something the SEO discussion can quietly…

From my experience in scientific communication in Burkina Faso, I believe the challenge is both technical and structural. Valuable African research is being produced, but its findings do not always reach the audiences who need them.Beyond SEO and hosting, I…
