Thank you for this list, @Henry Magoba, several of these are themes we discuss informally but rarely address directly.
Three that stand out for me:
    1. From PhD Research to Policy Impact — the gap isn't willingness, it's timing and format. Policy windows don't wait for a completed thesis. Do others build policy engagement into the PhD timeline, or treat it as post-completion work?
    2. Publishing During the PhD — the predatory journals question is urgent where APCs are prohibitive and publish-or-perish pressure is high. A practical checklist or shared experiences of legitimate waivers would be useful.
    3. Managing PhD Delays — much of the delay is administrative and supervisory, not intellectual, yet the researcher carries the cost. Worth discussing what fellows can control versus what needs institutional advocacy.
