Hello everyone,
My name is Oyetayo Oyebisi, and I am a Statistician and researcher with a strong interest in statistical modelling, Bayesian machine learning, trustworthy AI, uncertainty quantification, and predictive modelling. I have an MSc in Statistics and a background spanning statistical analysis, machine learning, and applied research.
I am currently with the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), where I am involved in research related to population, education, labour, and human capital development (CACEPs).
My broader research interests focus on developing statistical and machine-learning methods that are not only predictive but also interpretable, robust, and useful for real-world decision-making.
I look forward to learning from everyone here, sharing experiences, and hopefully building collaborations with fellow participants who are working on related problems. Please feel free to reach out, I believe some of the most valuable learning happens through discussions and exchanging ideas with people from different disciplines.
