Two months ago, I asked here: "After the form โ€” does how we record disclosure actually change what happens next?"

That conversation taught me that recording well is only half the work.
Today I want to ask the second half:
After we have analyzed the data on Violence Against Women and Girls, what actually changes?
Too often, we have beautiful analysis, powerful dashboards, and strong reports โ€” but the shelter is still full, the referral is still delayed, and the survivor is still waiting
So I want to learn from this community:
1. From analysis to action: What is one example where VAWG data in your context actually led to a change in service, funding, or protection โ€” not just a report?
2. Who decides the action? After analysis, who sits at the table to decide what happens next โ€” and are survivors in that room?
3. When data does not lead to action: If data shows a problem but nothing changes, who is responsible? Is it a data problem, a leadership problem, or a funding problem?
At Purpose Rwanda, we believe data that does not lead to action is unfinished work. Collection without utilization is extraction
Let us share what works, not just what we counted.
